Annoying Internet Marketing Tactics - Part Three - Traffic Exhanges

The sad thing is almost everybody doing this was given bad advice.

I mean submitting affiliate pages with sound and video to traffic exchanges. It pisses the other members off and it is a complete waste of time and money.

It’s really not their fault because many programs enshrine bad advice in their sales pitch. Many MLM programs tell their members all they have to do is a drive traffic to their replicated website where the movie will do all the selling for them.

Here is something they figured out way back in the nineties, advertising your affiliate URL is the absolute worse way to advertise any affiliate program including MLM.

At least newcomers are told you can find thousands of opportunity seekers on traffic exchanges.

Traffic Exchanges are communities of opportunity seekers where members visit other websites in the network for ten to thirty seconds. Some exchanges, like Job Olson’s ILovehits.com have over 80,000 members. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out advertising home business opportunities to these communities is great way to get your program in front of people likely to join.

Unfortunately, its seems you have to a rocket scientist to figure out advertising a website with a 15 minute movie promoting the next big opportunity of the week ain’t going to cut it on traffic exchanges. No one is going to wait for your movie to download. No. They are going to click away as soon as they get a chance. Read William Brant’s, 13 Deadly Traffic Exchange Tragedies to learn how insiders use traffic exchanges to build downlines and promote other products as well.

Most people surf with four to seven tabs open so several sites playing video and audio annoys people to no end. If their system freezes, then they are royally pissed off.

Opportunity seekers are now surfing exchanges like Tim Linden’s StartXchange where users can choose whether they want to visit sites with audio or video. The only people surfing sites with video or audio are people who insist on using on video and audio even though it only leads to failure.
